Kate and I had an awesome time at church camp. No better way to spend a summer afternoon than on a 200ft. waterslide! I received a shipment of new product while I was away so back to work for me. The July newsletter is in progress and should be ready to mail soon. There will be a 12 hour crop on July31, space is limited so stop by to get registered as soon as possible. Here is an updated version of the Circus pages designed by Mary Todd. These pages use alcohol ink to provide the vivid mats and lettering. Along with the coloring on the clown and tent. Kits are limited.

Once again they are working in the drive. You can access the shop through the back door from the Tan Line road. You can circle around by the church and come back out by Tan Line.

We are returning to page classes for the summer to see what response we have. That will determine our fall lineup. Our class load is lighter this summer but I have lots of cropping opportunities. I am also launching a new website in July! I am so excited to finally have this goal almost achieved. I wanted to give an update about the drive and parking lot situation. I just can't believe that they cam and dug that big hole on Monday morning and had everything done and put back by 10 am. on Wednesday morning. So the drive remains open.

A little mini album I created for my aunt who turned 80 this month. Pages reflect things that happened in 1930, along with a couple of personal photos.

I received a small shipment of new product yesterday. Tons of new stickers for birthday, boys, summer, mother, family and more. Three great designs from Best Creations Graduation Glitter paper. The entire line of medium brads from Doodlebug. Also some great animal print buttons perfect for the zoo along with some new zoo paper. Finally the We R Memory Keepers albums are back in stock in lots of colors. The new ones haven't arrived yet but they should soon. Hope to see you soon!

A 2 page spread I completed at the Crop for the Cure this weekend.

The April newsletter will be going out in the mail tomorrow, watch your mailbox. Another new shipment arrived with a small selection of new product along with many basics that needed restocking. I am looking forward to the Crop 4A Cure this weekend. Lisa always does an exceptional job with the entire 2 days and I get to just be a cropper for a change. I hope to complete several layouts! There are still a limited number of spaces left in the National Scrapbook Weekend 2. The dates are April 30-May 1. The cost for both days is $40.00 and includes 2 meals, snacks, door prizes, goody bag and project. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Received another shipment of new product this week. I actually got some Valentine product I ordered in January, UGH. It is a cute line and will work for other themes. The Making Memories Baby line finally arrived. The paper is so adorable and the embellies are glittered, with sayings like, "lil' angel" and "sweet baby". The matching albums have felt overlays that are patterned. Also received more spring and Easter. I still have tons of new product on pre-order to ship in the next few weeks so keep watching the blog.

Just received a huge shipment of new product! If you love pink and black with shimmer and glitter then the girlfriends line from TPS Studio is just for you. It is flying off the rack so don't wait long to check it out. Also from TPS I have the birthday and graduation lines both equally shimmery and glittery. The birthday line is very colorful and the graduation is of course black, white and grey. I also have the newest size plastic tote from Art Bin. It is huge with little containers on each side for embellishments and a lid compartment for stickers and other goodies. Creative Options released a similar size without all the extra storage options. This shipment also contained some great assorted embellishments and stickers along with great Easter items.

After the move and re-organization of my supplies I think I have been more productive. This is a layout I finished for Katy's book. She loved that trunk full of dress-up clothes and so did all her friends they would spend hours changing clothes and making up new outfits. She still spends hours changing clothes and making up new outfits!

National Scrapbook Weekend 1, April 23-24 is officially full. I still have many spots remaining for Weekend 2, April 30-May1. This is the biggest crop of the year, so don't miss out!

Instructor, Evonda Botka, has decided to take a break from teaching while she pursues another job opportunity. Evonda has provided solid classes and projects for the last two years and I appreciate all she has done for me and the shop. You will still be able to catch Evonda and her latest projects on Friday night crops.

With that said, I would like to introduce our newest instructor, Mary Todd. She is a new face at Precious Memories but brings years of creative experience to the mix. Mary is a very talented scrapbooker and I look forward to the new ideas she will bring to her classes and projects. You will be able to get a taste of Mary's talents on Mar. 10 when she presents the Free Make & Take that day. It is a cute favor for St. Patrick's day. This project is limited to the first 10 so don't miss out.

Ribbon 101 class is this Saturday. If you have a lot of ribbon in your stash and run out of ways to use it, this class is chock full of great techniques. We still have a few seats available. I will post the kit picture in the next day or two. Perfect for your Easter photos.

Another small shipment arrived today. More spring and new Jolee's along with some staple items that have been out of stock. No cricut supplies yet but should be soon! I am also working on the March newsletter. It should go out in the next couple of days so watch those mailboxes!

Another mini shipment arrived today. Large die-cut footballs, baseballs and basketballs from Reminisce along with their Easter paper. The die-cuts are life like and will be perfect with your sports pages. The Easter line is so cute with a cartoon like bunny on the feature paper. The Jenni Bowlin vintage buttons also arrived. These look like they are right out of Grandma's button box in 6 great vintage colors. 2 more page accents from Paper Loft as well as bowling, heart-beep and picture frame paper. Finally ran across the recipe everyone wanted from the New Year's Crop.

Chicken ala Christmas
6-8 whole chicken breast (boned and skinless) cut in half
1 strip of bacon for each piece of chicken
1 glass jar of dried beef
1 10oz can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup of sour cream mixed with 1/4 cup of flour

Grease crock pot. Line bottom of crock pot with dried beef. Wrap bacon around chicken and secure with a toothpick. Layer bacon-wrapped chicken in crock pot. Mix soup with sour cream and flour, then pour over chicken. Cover and cook 10 hours on low. Serve over noodles or rice.

Two shipments arrived yesterday! The Lucky Me line from Little Yellow Bicycle is wonderful. I has a Celtic feel in green and navy with clovers and horseshoes with a touch of bling. This is a great collection for many different themes from 4-H to love and of course St. Pat's Day. Other new product includes 4-wheeling, wedding and In Loving Memory. A few new spring papers were in the mix as well. The bulk of one shipment was basic items that I needed to restock. Most of the American Craft solid paper collections are back. The solid cardstock is full and all the adhesives and other basics are replenished. Another new product in the solid paper line is the white wash paper from Core dinations. These are great springy solids washed with white on the top. These will be great for embossing, sanding, distressing and much more.

Another small shipment arrived today. Flutter from Making Memories, it is there spring collection. Just received a partial shipment. Also several new stickers from Karen Foster, wedding, basketball, volleyball, loving memory, off road, doctor and more.

Just received a shipment from Paper Loft. It is there new lines Back Country, now and then and Grandma's House. These are great if you love neutrals with a touch of vintage. The Back Country features a lot of the outdoor activities we are involved in when the weather is warmer than today!

It is with great regret that I inform you of the closing of Rusty Pickle. This has always been one of my favorite companies even though Lance was a little hard to get along with. I will miss there cutting edge product.
